Broncos sign Brian Sanford to one-year deal

The Denver Broncos signed veteran defensive lineman Brian Sanford.

The 6-foot-2, 280-pounder has played in a dozen regualr-season games with one start for the Cleveland Browns and Oakland Raiders.

He has 13 creer tackles.

He signed with the Browns as a college free agent in 2010 and spent time on the practice squad and active roster during his first three NFL seasons. Sanford was acquired by Oakland via waivers last year.

Sanford saw action in 43 career games at Temple University and posted 86 tackles, eight sacks and three forced fumbles.
