Broncos sign Evan Mathis to one-year, $4 million deal

The Denver Broncos have signed two-time Pro Bowl offensive guard Evan Mathis to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million. He also drew interest from the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Miami Dolphins. “Evan Mathis is an accomplished veteran who has played at a very high level for the last several seasons,” Broncos general manager John Elway said. “He will immediately make our team better, and we are excited to have him as part of the Denver Broncos.” Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
