Broncos signing Demaryius Thomas to five-year, $70 million deal
The Denver Broncos hammered out a five-year, $70 million deal that includes $43.5 million guaranteed, according to a league source.
Thomas got $35 million guaranteed in the first two seasons.
The deal for the Broncos' franchise player is similar to Dez Bryant's five-year, $70 million contract with $45 million guaranteed.
If a deal hadn't been reached by this afternoon, Bryant would have played this season under a $12.823 million franchise tender.
Thomas is a three-time Pro Bowl selection.
Thomas has three consecutive seasons of at least 92 catches, 1,430 yards and 10 touchdowns.
