Broncos would deal Orton – even to the Raiders
With Brandon Lloyd now apparently on his way to St. Louis, the Denver Broncos apparently even willing to let their most hated neighbors stop by and browse the yard sale they are having before they officially turn things over to Tim Tebow.
According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, yes, the Broncos would be willing to deal Kyle Orton to the rival Oakland Raiders, who suddenly are in need of quarterback help after Jason Campbell's injury.
It would seem strange that the Broncos would be willing to aid and abet the Raiders in their hour of need, but since Denver is playing for 2012 and beyond, if they can get a draft pick and get the Raiders to take on Orton's salary, maybe such a move is not out of the question after all.
Or maybe the Broncos look at Orton's 6-21 record in his past 27 games as a starter with Denver and figure that might be their best chance of spoiling the Raiders' playoff hopes this season.
