Browns, Jets lead way on compensatory picks

With the league announcing its compensatory picks, the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets scouting departments will be quite busier now, as both teams received four compensation picks on Monday afternoon.

The Browns and Jets between them picked up a quarter of the 32 additional choices that are based upon teams losing more or better compensatory free agents from the year before than it acquired. Four picks is the maximum a team can acquire, and no compensatory pick can be higher than a third-round draft choice.

The Oakland Raiders received the only third-round pick, the 95th choice overall in the draft.
