Browns' Mingo hospitalized with bruised lung, Dion Lewis breaks leg

It was a rough night for the Cleveland Browns.

During a preseason win over the Detroit Lions, first-round outside linebacker Barkevious Ming was hospitalized with a bruised lung. It's feared that running back Dion Lewis broke his left fibula. Plus, offensive guard Jason Pinkson sprained his ankle.

Although X-rays for Mingo were negative, a bruised lung landed him in the hospital overnight.

Lewis could be out for the season potentially, or at least a major portion of it.

"He's a big part of the offense,'' running back Trent Richardson told the Cleveland Plain Dealer of Lewis. "He's a big part of the team. With his three years in the NFL, I'm learning more from him every day, how quick he is and he's a great person. We're going to keep his spirits lifted high and we're going to keep him in our prayers. I don't know if we're going to lose him for the season, but if we do, there's a lot of opportunity for guys."
