The Cleveland Browns offensive line is still very much in flux just days before the season opener against Cincinnati.

In Tony Grossi's story for the Cleveland Plain Dealer about QB Colt McCoy the situation of the problems on the Browns o-line is addressed.

While Alex Mack at center and Joe Thomas at left tackle are solid and healthy, there appears to be questions almost everywhere else along the front wall.

Rookie Jason Pinkston is getting the snaps in place of Eric Steinbach, who went on injured reserve last week after undergoing back surgery. However, Browns coach Pat Shurmer still has not labeled Pinkston the starter.

That's because newly signed Artis Hicks was supposed to compete with Pinkston for the spot, before right tackle Tony Pashos landed in a walking boot. Now, Hicks and another newcomer, Oniel Cousins, who was claimed off waivers from Baltimore, are working at the right tackle spot.

The story says that McCoy has been very calm throughout camp and preseason and in readying for the opener. With a patchwork offensive line to operate behind, we'll see if McCoy's demeanor changes once the season starts.
