Browns receiver Josh Gordon applies for reinstatement

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon applied for reinstatement to the NFL after being indefinitely suspended for repeated substance-abuse violations. He was suspended last February, failing an alcohol test after flying to Las Vegas. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has two months to rule on the reinstatement. Gordon will have to prove he's passed drug and alcohol tests. "What I'm anxious to do is evaluate him just like we're going to evaluate every player on our roster and see if they are the right fit for the Cleveland Browns," Browns coach Hue Jackson said.
