Buccaneers claim D.J. Swearinger, Khaseem Greene, cut M.D. Jennings

Former Houston Texans safety D.J. Swearinger and former Chicago Bears linebacker Khaseem Greene were awarded to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers off waivers today. The Buccaneers cut safety M.D. Jennings.
Entering his third NFL season, Swearinger had been linked to trade discussions, but no deal was struck.
The former second-round pick from South Carolina had 73 tackles, three forced fumbles and two interceptions last season.
Greene is a former fourth-round draft pick.
Jennings is a former Green Bay Packers starter.
