The Tampa Bay Buccaneers cut veteran wide receiver Lavelle Hawkins.
He has played before for the San Diego Chargers and Tennessee Titans.
He played four games last season for the Chargers with no catches.
Hawkins played for Buccaneers offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford at Cal.
He was cut by the New England Patriots last season.
He worked out for the San Francisco 49ers during the season.
Hawkins has 71 career receptions for 771 yards and one touchdown.
