Buccaneers sign quarterback Dan LeFevour
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Dan LeFevour, who most recently played for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League. eague. LeFevour joins quarterbacks Jameis Winston, Mike Glennon and Ryan Griffin on the roster. After starring at Central Michigan, LeFevour was chosen by the Chicago Bears in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He actually spent his rookie season in Cincinnati, however, after the Bengals claimed him off waivers in early September. LeFevour served as the Bengals' inactive third quarterback for the entire 2010 campaign, then spent time on the practice squads in Cincinnati and Indianapolis for the first half of 2011. In November, the Jaguars signed him off the Colts' practice squad and he remained on the active roster in Jacksonville for the rest of the season. LeFevour first went to Canada in 2012, spending three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger Cats and getting extensive playing time in 2014. He completed 101 of 149 passes for 1,276 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions and also ran 50 times for 314 yards and four additional scores.
