Buccaneers sign Trevor Scott

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed veteran defensive end Trevor Scott.

Scott is a 6-foot-5, 250-pounder who had three sacks last season for the New England Patriots.

For his career, Scott has 16 1/2 sacks, 111 tackles and two forced fumbles.

Scott began his career with the Oakland Raiders.

The Buccaneers feature Da'Quan Bowers and Adrian Clayborn as their starting defensive ends, but Scott could provide a complementary presence as a pass-rushing substitute.
