Bucs bag LeGarrette Blount

The Tennessee Titans had been planning to bring back LeGarrette Blount on their practice squad.

Instead, the rookie running back from Oregon is headed to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that Blount was claimed in waivers today by the Bucs, who currently have Kareem Huggins, an undrafted player from a year ago, set to be the backup to Cadillac Williams.

The Bucs have a young roster that will be worked over this season, as it was a year ago, and taking a look at the physical Blount who looked impressive in portions of preseason is a good idea.
