Bucs give John McCargo another shot
A week later, John McCargo is getting another shot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Actually, it’s his third opportunity with the team. You know that they say – maybe the third time will be the charm.
The defensive tackle was signed last week by the Bucs after Gerald McCoy was placed in injured reserve with a biceps injury. Then, he got shipped out when Albert Haynesworth arrived. His chance this week came up when defensive end George Johnson was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Houston Texans.
McCargo was only with the Bucs for a week during training camp, so he’s got to learn the scheme to make an impact. We’ll see if he can stick around this time.
