Bucs sign second-round pick DT Brian Price

The first training camp gets going Friday with the Cleveland Browns starting first, and now the second second-round draft pick in the entire league has come to terms on a deal.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reeled in defensive tackle Brian Price, the 35th overall selection from the April draft, signing him to a four-year contract.

The UCLA product will be paired with first-round draft pick Gerald McCoy, also a tackle, with the hopes of rebuilding the Bucs defense. Price is considered a solid run stuffer who also has the athletic ability to rush the passer. He was third in the NCAA in tackles for loss last season for the Bruins.

The Bucs report to training camp on July 30 and now they have to get McCoy signed. The only other second-round draft pick to sign thus far is New York Jets offensive linemen Vladimir Ducasse.
