Bus Cook signs Jadeveon Clowney, Eric Ebron
It's been a good day for Mississippi based sports agent Bus Cook.
After finalizing a seven-year contract for client Jay Cutler to stay with the Chicago Bears, Cook was able to finalize his own deals to represent South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and North Carolina tight end Eric Ebron, as they prepare to enter the 2014 NFL draft.
Clowney is regarded as one of the top defensive prospects this draft, and could make his way into being a top five pick. Prior to the 2013 college football season, many draft analysts pegged Clowney as a potential No. 1 overall selection.
Opponents focused on Clowney this year and held him to just three sacks as a junior. However, he was disruptive and tallied 10.5 of his 35 tackles for loss. As a sophomore, Clowney set team records with 23.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks.
Ebron is one of the top tight end prospects available in this year's draft and could be slected in the middle of the first round.
At 6-4, 245 pounds, Ebron is a big target to throw the ball to. In 2013, Ebron caught 62 passes for 973 yards and three touchdowns.
Both players announced that they were forgo their senior seasons to enter the NFL draft.
