Bush delivers second straight strong game for Dolphins
Reggie Bush had a solid game for the second straight week and the Miami Dolphins finally broke into the win column Sunday, routing Kansas City 31-3.
Bush rushed for 92 yards in the game, and added another 50 receiving as Miami ended its eight-game losing streak that began the 2011 season. Bush had averaged 6.9 yards per carry the week before when the Dolphins nearly upset the New York Giants.
The Dolphins had banked on Bush being a big part of their offense when they brought him in from New Orleans once the lockout ended, but an 0-8 start had brought Bush and virtually everyone else with the team under heavy scrutiny and criticism. But for Bush, he said Sunday was a relief.
"It feels good to get that first win," Bush told the Palm Beach Post. "It's been a tough little road. We've been waiting for this one."
