Byron Bell signed by Titans
Former Carolina Panthers starting left tackle Byron Bell has signed with the the Tennessee Titans, according to a source.
Bell previously visited the Titans and Kansas City Chiefs.
The unrestricted free agent wasn't retained by the Panthers after starting 56 games in the past four seasons.
He started 15 games at left tackle last season after Jordan Gross retired. Bell had previously started at right tackle.
Bell struggled as a left tackle, allowing 11 sacks.
The Panthers claimed former San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jonathan Martin off waivers and signed former Tennessee Titans and Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle Michael Oher this offseason.
