Calvin Johnson won't play today

No miracle was able to happen for Calvin Johnson this week.

For the second consecutive week, the Lions will be without their star receiver due to an ankle injury. Johnson was unlikely to play, with coach Jim Caldwell saying a "miracle" would need to take place to get him on the field.

However, Johnson was shown on ESPN partaking in a pre-game warmup routine to see if his ankle could get loose. Clearly his ankle wasn't able to get to where it needed to be to play.

Golden Tate will assume No. 1 receiver duties with Johnson inactive.
