Cam Newton loses Super Bowl, sulks

Carolina Panthers star quarterback Cam Newton had no dabbing moments during and after the Super Bowl. Newton sulked his way through an interview before walking out after answering just a few questions. Newton had a black hoodie with the hood pulled over his head. It was a bad look. "They just played better than us," Newton said. "I don't know what you want me to say. They made more plays than us, and that's what it came down to. We had opportunities. There wasn't nothing special that they did. We dropped balls, we turned the ball over, gave up sacks, threw errant passes. That's it. They scored more points than us." The NFL Most Valuable Player had one interception and two fumbles, one returned for a touchdown. He was sacked six times. He completed 265 yards for a 55.4 passer rating. "They outplayed us," Newton said. "We lost. We'll be back." Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
