Cam Thomas signs with Steelers

Nose tackle Cam Thomas has signed a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to his agent David Canter.

Thomas was a fifth-round draft pick by the San Diego Chargers in 2010. In four seasons with the Chargers, Thomas tallied 51 tackles, three pass deflections and one interception.

He started 10 of the 16 regular season games he appeared in during the 2013 season.

Thomas played college football at the University of North Carolina.
