Cardinals place Corey Peters on injured reserve

Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Corey Peters has a torn left Achilles and has been placed on injured reserve, ending ihs season. The Cardinals had signed him this offseason to a three-year, $10.5 million contract. Peters has 11 career sacks in five NFL seasons. He had 26 tackles and two sacks last season.
