Cardinals re-sign Drew Stanton to two-year, $6.5 million deal

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Drew Stanton has remained with the NFC West club on a two-year, $6.5 million contract. Stanton is a backup to Carson Palmer. Stanton, 31, has played in 16 games over the last two seasons. He started eight games in 2014. Stanton has won seven of 12 career starts.
