Cards' Boldin, Hayes inactive vs. Saints today

From NFL.com:

The official word from New Orleans is that Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin and LB Gerald Hayes are inactive for Saturday’s divisional-round game against the Saints.

Boldin (ankle), who coach Ken Whisenhunt had said would be a game-time decision, and Hayes (ankle) were both officially listed as questionable.

Boldin has been nursing a left ankle injury and a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee sustained in the regular-season finale, and will miss his second straight game. It’s expected that WR Steve Breaston will make the start for Boldin, with Early Doucet also playing a larger role, and veteran LB Monty Beisel getting the start for Hayes.

The two other Cardinals who were listed as questionable — DE Calais Campbell (thumb) and LB Will Davis (knee) — are active.

The other Cardinals inactives: RB Nehemiah Broughton, FS Rashad Johnson, OG Herman Johnson, DT Jeremy Clark and TE Stephen Spach. Brian St. Pierre is the No. 3 QB.

There are no surprises among the Saints inactives. The Saints listed four players — CB Malcolm Jenkins (hamstring), DE Bobby McCray (back), WR Lance Moore (hamstring) and RB Pierre Thomas (ribs) — as probable this week, and all will play.

Here are the Saints inactives: RB Deuce McAllister, FS Chris Reis, LB Anthony Waters, OG Jamar Nesbit, TE Darnell Dinkins, WR Tory Humphrey and DE Paul Spicer. Chase Daniel is the emergency No. 3 QB.
