Carl Smith on board as Seahawks QB coach
The Seattle Seahawks have made the addition of Carl Smith as the team’s quarterbacks coach official.
Smith replaces Jedd Fisch, who departed last month to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Miami.
Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times connects the dots with Smith. He worked for Pete Carroll in New England from 1997 to 1999 and again in 2004 at USC. Smith was an offensive coordinator with the Jacksonville Jaguars for three seasons. He served as the quarterbacks coach of the Cleveland Browns in 2010.
