Carson Palmer expected to return next Sunday
Though the Cardinals have a top-notch defense, all hands will need to be on deck when facing the Denver Broncos.
And therefore it's a good thing that quarterback Carson Palmer is expecting to be ready to go against Denver. Palmer has been out the past two weeks with a nerve injury in his shoulder. However, via The Arizona Republic, Palmer's shoulder is beginning to respond to treatment finally.
This puts Palmer on a path to play against the Broncos, which is something Arizona will need in order to pose more of a balanced threat.
Drew Stanton was able to lead Arizona to two wins in a backup role, which includes a victory over division foe San Francisco this past Sunday. But moving forward, Palmer is the quarterback the Cardinals want behind center.
