Chargers re-sign Ajirotutu

Ailing at wide receiver with Malcom Floyd out with a knee sprain and Danario Alexander headed to injured reserve if he clears waivers after being waived-injured with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, wide receiver Seyi Ajirotutu has rejoined the San Diego Chargers.

The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder originally joined the Chargers in 2010 as an undrafted rookie from Fresno State and spent time with the Chargers during each of the past three seasons. Ajirotutu has played in 13 career games for the Chargers and he played in 14 for the Carolina Panthers in 2011.

Last season, he played in three games with one start for the Chargers, catching three passes for 45 yards. For his career, Ajirotutu has 17 catches for 311 yards and two touchdowns.
