Chargers sign Joe Barksdale to one-year deal

The San Diego Chargers signed offensive tackle Joe Barksdale to a one-year contract that includes a $350,000 signing bonus and $1 million in playtime and other incentives.

Barksdale could start at right offensive tackle if D.J. Fluker shifted to offensive guard.

Barksdale has played guard for the Oakland Raiders previously.

He started 29 games over the past two seasons for the St. Louis Rams.

Barksdale visited the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons. Barksdale, 27, is a former third-round draft pick from LSU. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
