Charles "Peanut" Tillman retires
Veteran cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman has retired.
The 35-year-old played 12 seasons for the Chicago Bears.
He played for th4e Carolina Panthers last season, starting a dozen games.
Tillman was an All-Pro in 2012, a two-time Pro Bowl selection.
He intercepted 38 career passes and was named Walter Payton Man of the Year three years ago.
“I've had 13 amazing years on two great teams and I’m just thankful for the love and support that I got from my teammates, the fans and my coaches,” Tillman said. “I’m thankful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am right now because I definitely didn’t do it by myself.”
