Charles Tillman joins Panthers on one-year deal

Peanut is a Panther. Former Chicago Bears cornerback Charles "Peanut" Tillman has signed with the Carolina Panthers today, reuniting him with coach Ron Rivera, his former Bears defensive coordinator. Tillman tore his triceps last season, but is healthy now as he returns for his 13th NFL season. Tillman was playing well prior to his injury. He played for Rivera for three seasons previously in Chicago. Tillman is a big cornerback at 6-foot-2, 198 pounds, but is older at 34 years old.
