Charles Tillman placed on injured reserve

Chicago Bears cornerback Charles Tillman's season is over.

He was placed on injured reserve with a torn right triceps.

Tillman injured the triceps last season, too.

Tillman, 33, is playing under a one-year contract.

This could be a career-ending injury for Tillman due to his age and recent history

He's played in Chicago for a dozen years.

I know this feeling way too well, but this isn’t the end of the road for me,” Tillman said. "As I rehab my injury, my role will transition to helping coach and support my teammates. I will be at Halas Hall and do everything I can to help our team reach its goals.”
