Chase Daniel joining Mizzou in Joplin tornado relief effort
New Orleans Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniel is pitching in with his college team Missouri to aid tornado relief in devastated Joplin, Mo.
Dave Matter of the Columbia Daily Tribune reports members of the Tigers team will take a bus to Joplin on Friday in order to aid in the recovery effort. Players and coaches will help distribute supplies and in clean-up projects.
Daniel is expected to be on hand and he will also conduct an autograph fundraiser at a car dealership in Columbia on Saturday with proceeds going to the United Way’s “United for Joplin” program.
