Chiefs' Baldwin healthy, but may remain inactive
Kansas City Chiefs first-round pick Jon Baldwin is healthy, having mended from the broken thumb suffered in a training camp fight with teammate Thomas Jones.
But, according to Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star, Baldwin might not be active and on the field this week against the rival Oakland Raiders.
The problem is that with all the missed time in camp and preseason, Baldwin is behind in picking up the offense and having his timing down with quarterback Matt Cassel. Plus, Teicher points out, that the Chiefs backup receivers have special teams responsibilities, and Baldwin does not.
