Chiefs pick up fifth-year option for Eric Fisher

The Kansas City Chiefs picked up the fifth-year option for offensive tackle Eric Fisher. Fisher is now under contract through the 2017 season. He's due an $11.9 million salary that year. Fisher's salary is guaranteed for injury only. It becomes fully guaranteed the first day of the 2017 league year. Fisher played better last season.
