Chiefs rout Patriots

The Kansas City Chiefs routed the New England Patriots on Monday night, 41-14.

Running back Jamaal Charles scored three touchdowns in his first game back from an ankle injury.

Tom Brady was intercepted twice in one of the worst losses ever for coach Bill Belichick.

Charles rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown. He caught two touchdowns from Alex Smith.

Brady finished 14 of 23 for 159 yards and a touchdown.

"It was just a bad performance by everybody," Brady said. "We need to make sure we never have this feeling again. We've got to figure out what we have to do better."
