Chiefs sign Kevin Vickerson, Dwayne Bowe back from suspension

The Kansas City Chefs signed veteran defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson.

VIckerson has previously played for the Denver Broncos and Tennessee Titans. He has 153 career tackles, 6.5 sacks, 17 tackles for lsoses and two forced fumbles with one interception.

Wide receiver Dwayne Bowe returns to the active roster from the reserve-suspended list and the team promoted linebacker Jerry Franklin to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.

The Chiefs have placed linebacker Derrick Johnson and defensive end Mike DeVito on injured reserve with torn Achilles tendons. The club has waived defensive back Daniel Sorensen.

The Chiefs cut fullback Jordan Campbell, center Ben Gottschalk, defensive tackle Hebron Fangupo and wide receiver Darryl Surgent from the practice squad.

Kansas City has signed wide receiver Armon Binns, tackle Curtis Feigt, tight end Adam Schiltz, cornerback Robert Steeples and defensive tackle Jerel Worthy to the practice squad.
