Chiefs sign offensive lineman Hutch Eckerson

The Kansas City Chiefs have signed veteran free agent offensive lineman Hutch Eckerson.

Eckerson is a 6-foot-6, 310-pounder was signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted rookie two years ago.

Cut by the Chargers, he was signed by the New Orleans Saints and was then released and signed by the Buffalo Bills in February.

Eckerson played collegiately at South Carolina where he was a teammate of Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop.
