Chip Kelly: Nick Foles QB for next 1,000 years

Perhaps, Eagles coach Chip Kelly is in the possession of some revolutionary anti-aging technology.

Most likely, he's just using a figure of speech.

When asked about quarterback Nick Foles, who tossed three touchdowns in Philadelphia's 24-21 win over Arizona, Kelly gave him an extreme vote of confidence.

"He's the starting quarterback for the next 1,000 years here," Kelly said, via CSNPhilly.com.

Foles has earned the designation of being Philadelphia's starting quarterback. In nine games, Foles has thrown for 1,791 yards, 19 touchdowns and zero interceptions.

A lot of excitement has centered around the young quarterback as he becomes a future face of the franchise. It remains to be seen how close to 1,000 years Foles remains the Eagles' starting quarterback.
