Clemson linebacker B.J. Goodson visiting Colts, Giants this week, has 15 total visits, private workouts
Hard-hitting Clemson inside linebacker B.J. Goodson is visiting the Indianapolis Colts and New York Giants this week, according to a league source. Goodson has 15 total visits and private workouts. Among Goodson's other visits: the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. Goodson had 108 tackles last season, 14 for losses and 5 1/2 sacks. He intercepted two passes and forced a fumble and was named second-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference. The team captain plays with a physical, quick-striking style. He's also athletic and strong. Goodson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.69 seconds and bench pressed 225 pounds 30 times at the NFL scouting combine where the 6-1, 242-pounder had a 34 1/2 inch vertical leap.
