Collins still bothered by concussion
Kerry Collins has been cleared for limited practice, but has not been cleared to play after suffering a concussion against Pittsburgh two weeks ago.
"I can look back over my career and I can remember at least a half-dozen or more small ones," Collins told the Indianapolis Star. "I've never had a lot of big ones, and this one's hung around longer than any I've had before. They expect me to recover fully and whenever it happens, it happens."
That means that Curtis Painter, who nearly led the Colts to their first win of the season Monday night in Tampa Bay, will make his second straight start this Sunday when the Colts host the Kansas City Chiefs.
In other news, linebacker Ernie Sims could be ready to return from a knee injury that has kept him out since he hurt it in the season opener.
