Colts about to hit a run of good Luck
With nearly two-thirds of the precincts reporting in, Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz has declared the 0-10 Colts the projected winner of the 'Suck for Luck" sweepstakes.
Certainly, with Sunday's convincing 17-3 loss to a moribund Jacksonville Jaguars team, and second victories by both the Dolphins and Rams yesterday, the Colts have positioned themselves as the unmistakable frontrunners for Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck, in what had been a three-team race just a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, the Colts in drafting Luck will also have the problem of what to do with two franchise quarterbacks on their roster once Peyton Manning's health returns. But after watching Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky direct this season's train wreck, the guess is that sorting out the Manning/Luck situation is a problem the Colts and Colts fans will gladly welcome.
