Colts acquire CB Vontae Davis
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay had hinted for days on Twitter that his club was on the verge of making a major trade.
On Sunday, it happened, as the Colts acquired cornerback Vontae Davis from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a second-round pick in 2013, according to FoxSports.com's Jay Glazer
Davis had fallen out of favor in Miami, losing his starting job during training camp, and being relegated to mostly nickel situations. But Davis is only 24 years old and has upside, making him worth the gamble in the Colts' eyes.
