Colts cut Trent Richardson, Michael Hill

The Indianapolis Colts cut running backs Trent Richardson and Michael Hill. Richardson was a bust after the Colts traded a first-round pick for him. He was suspended for the AFC championship game. Richardson rushed for 977 yards and six touchdowns in two seasons with the Colts. Hill was signed by the Colts as a free agent in January and appeared in two postseason games on special teams. He also spent time on the team’s practice squad in November 2014. For his two-year NFL career, Hill has recorded nine rushing attempts for 23 yards and two receptions for 23 yards in eight games played. He was originally signed by the San Diego Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri Western State on April 27, 2013 and also spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins.
