Colts promote Da'Rick Rogers, IR Dwayne Allen

The Indianapolis Colts have promoted rookie wide receiver Da'Rick Rogers to the active roster from the practice squad as tight end Dwayne Allen was placed on injured reserve with a hip injury, ending his season.

Rogers caught 61 passes for 893 yards and 10 touchdowns last season at Tennessee Tech.

Rogers caught 78 passes for 1,207 yards and 11 touchdowns at Tennessee before being kicked off the team for flunking drug tests.

Rogers was cut by the Buffalo Bills after going undrafted.
