Colts remove Manning banner
The House That Peyton Built will no longer have a picture of him on the outside.
The Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday removed the banner of Peyton Manning that had hung outisde Lucas Oil Stadium since it opened in 2008.
According to the Associated Press, the timing of the picture coming down is purely coincidence that it came one day before the Colts will draft Manning's replacement, Andrew Luck of Stanford.
Manning, who spent 14 years in Indianapolis, was released by the Colts on March 7, and the team added the words, "Thank you Peyton" to the banner. Manning subsequently signed with the Denver Broncos.
