Colts sign safety Zbikowski

Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano added a familiar face to his squad on Saturday, as the Colts agreed to a deal with safety Tom Zbikowski.

Zbikowski was with the Baltimore Ravens, where Pagano was the defensive coordinator until taking command of the Colts earlier this year.

Zbikowski, 5-11, 200 pounds, has played four years, all with the Ravens, and has totaled 49 tackles (41 solo), two interceptions, one sack, five passes defensed and 58 special teams stops.

“Tom is a very dedicated and fiery player,” said Pagano. “His competitiveness drives him to perform at a high level and his aggressive style of play parallels the attitude we’re looking for from the defensive unit. We’re very excited Tom will be joining the Colts this season.”
