Colts will use Freeney as Ravens used Suggs
New Indianapolis Colts coach Chuck Pagano says he will use defensive end Dwight Freeney like he used Terrell Suggs when he was the Ravens defensive coordinator.
That means a dual role of playing some as a 3-4 outsidelinebacker for Freeney, who has been one of the NFL's top pass-rushing defensive ends since he has been in the NFL.
"Suggs' hand is in the dirt way more than he is standing up," Pagano told CBSSports.com. "I'd be crazy to have those guys dropping more than rushing. If I dropped Suggs too much, they probably would have fired me midseason."
