Colts zoom to front in 'Suck for Luck'
The Indianapolis Colts are in the driver's seat in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes.
The Miami Dolphins surprising 31-3 victory at Kansas City and the Colts continued ineptness against the Atlanta Falcons with a 31-7 loss.
Colts players say they don't have any answers for why the team has fallen into the abyss since Peyton Manning's injury. OK, everyone knew Manning was the main cog in Indy, but probably few knew he was THIS vital that the Colts could not win a single game without him.
"On Sundays, we're just not making plays and putting ourselves in bad positions and making mistakes. We're paying for it. We're losing game," veteran center Jeff Saturday told the Indianapolis Star.
And while Colts players don't want to hear this at 0-9, there is a potential silver lining awaiting in Luck, if they continue to be this bad. A franchise quarterback to groom to eventually replace the one they currently have on the shelf.
