Cortland Finnegan expects Rams to cut him

Cornerback Cortland Finnegan was told by the St. Louis Rams organization that he will be released, according to multiple reports.

Finnegan preempted the story on his personal twitter page, announcing a goodbye to Rams fans.

"St.Louis thank you for your letting me play for a classy franchise and coach fish nothing but love thank you all. #Motivation," Finnegan wrote.

Two offseason ago, Finnegan signed a five-year, $50 million to be with the Rams. After a solid 2013 season, he had a disastrous 2014 campaign.
