Could Andy Reid wind up in Miami?
Most people in South Florida and around the NFL believe that current Dolphins coach Tony Sparano will soon be walking the aqua-shaded green mile in Miami regarding his coaching future.
After all, the Dolphins are 0-4 and now have lost Chad Henne for the season, not exactly leading to predictions of a rosy future for Sparano.
Most of the speculation has turned to big-name coaches who are currently not coaching, the usual suspects such as Jon Gruden, Bill Cowher, etc. However, Mike Berardino the South Florida Sun-Sentinel throws another big name into the mix - Andy Reid.
Of course, there is the little matter that Reid currently has a job, as the longest tenured head coach in the NFL with the Philadelphia Eagles. However, the Eagles are off to a 1-4 start as the "Dream Team" is rapidly turning into a season-long nightmare.
If things don't turnaround - and what's that old adage about a coach's message only getting through in one place for so long - perhaps Reid and the Eagles could go their separate ways. If that happens, Berardino speculates that Miami might be an option.
